Since its inception, Puntland Technical University has become a hub for research, education, and outreach. Through these three pillars, the university plays a catalytic role in accelerating responses to the many challenges facing the society.

PTU embodies the view that the knowledge and use of science, technology and innovation are critical for sustainable development.  Building a culture of academic excellence, knowledge sharing and having a generational impact on our students is how we measure our success.

As a technically oriented research institution, our regular activities involve knowledge acquisition and transmission.  We are interested to work with the private and public sector on a variety of projects where our focus areas can be leveraged.
